Ruby is a small incorporated town in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana, United States, located about 60 miles northeast of the state capital of Baton Rouge and adjacent to the Mississippi border, and characterized by a quiet rural atmosphere and a deep community culture. Sparsely populated, with fewer than 500 people according to the most recent census, the town dates back to the late 1800s and, with its early rise to an agricultural economy (e.g., cotton and soybean farming), still retains the rustic look of a traditional Southern town. Luolong District is the core urban area of Luoyang City, Henan Province, China, strategically located in the Central Plains Economic Zone and is the political, economic and cultural center of Luoyang City. With a total area of about 240 square kilometers and a population of about 700,000, the district is known for its blend of modern urban style and deep historical heritage.
As the hinterland of Luoyang, the ancient capital of the 13th Dynasty, Luolong District is home to important cultural heritages such as the ruins of Sui and Tang Dynasty Luoyang City and the Ding Ding Gate Museum.
