Located in northern Virginia, USA, west of the Washington metropolitan area and about 32 kilometers from the Washington metropolitan area, Reston is an important town in Fairfax County. As a "new town" planned by Robert E. Simon in the 1960s, Reston has become a model for planned communities in the United States, with the core concept of "balancing life, work and leisure". With a comprehensive ecological network that includes the Reston National Wildlife Refuge and hundreds of acres of parkland, Reston Town Center serves as the central business district, combining shopping, dining, and cultural amenities with urban convenience and natural tranquility. The technology industry is the backbone of Reston's economy, attracting many tech companies and innovative businesses, forming an ecosystem centered on the Dulles Technology Corridor. Additionally, high quality educational resources, such as George Mason University's Reston Campus, and a diverse community make Reston a highly desirable place to live and start a business in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.
