Renwu District is located in the northwestern part of Kaohsiung City, Taiwan, China, and is an important industrial and residential satellite city of Kaohsiung. It has a total area of about 36.08 square kilometers and a population of over 90,000 people. In the area, there are two industrial clusters, Renwu Industrial Zone and Dashe Industrial Zone, gathering traditional industries such as petrochemicals and metal processing, and in recent years, the development of precision machinery and technology industries.
In terms of transportation, the area enjoys convenient road networks such as National Highway No. 10 and the Taiwan Railway Renwu Station (under planning), and it is about a 30-minute drive from Kaohsiung Airport. The area retains natural landscapes such as Guanyin Lake and Baguazhliao Watershed, and inherits folk cultures such as Songjiang Formation and shadow puppets, forming a distinctive urban landscape where industry and ecology coexist.
Ruby is a small incorporated town in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana, United States, located about 60 miles northeast of the state capital of Baton Rouge and adjacent to the Mississippi border, and characterized by a quiet rural atmosphere and a deep community culture. Sparsely populated, with fewer than 500 people according to the most recent census, the town dates back to the late 1800s and, with its early rise to an agricultural economy (e.g., cotton and soybean farming), still retains the rustic look of a traditional Southern town. The town's landmarks include a century-old community church and several Victorian-style homes, and the annual fall "Ruby Family Day," which blends elements of local Cajun and Creole culture, has become a shared memory for the surrounding residents. Despite its small size, Ruby epitomizes the serenity of the American countryside with its simple folk and distinctive Louisiana southern flavor.
