Radža is a quiet town in western North Macedonia, nestled in the southern foothills of the Šar Mountains, about 120 kilometers from the capital, Skopje. The town is known for its well-preserved Ottoman-era architecture and traditional Balkan flavor, with the old town's stone paths, wooden houses and quaint mosques speaking of its long history. Surrounded by dense forests and crystal clear mountain springs, it is an ideal destination for hiking and eco-tourism, especially in summer. The local people still practice handicrafts and traditional folklore, and the annual "Raja Cultural Festival" attracts many visitors to experience the authentic rural life of Northern Macedonia.
Located in the district of Comovene in the South American country of Suriname, Totnes is a historic town at the mouth of the Suriname River, about 30 kilometers from the capital Paramaribo. As one of the earliest European colonial settlements in Suriname, it was founded by British colonizers in the 17th century and later transferred to Dutch rule, and still retains the mark of colonial architecture and multicultural fusion. Known for its tranquil riverside scenery, lush rainforest landscape and unique Creole culture, Totnes is a great place to explore Suriname's nature and history. Despite its small size, its ecological richness and simplicity make it a "hidden paradise" for South American travelers.
