Radža is a quiet town in western North Macedonia, nestled in the southern foothills of the Šar Mountains, about 120 kilometers from the capital, Skopje. The town is known for its well-preserved Ottoman-era architecture and traditional Balkan flavor, with the old town's stone paths, wooden houses and quaint mosques speaking of its long history. Mingaychayur is the fourth largest city in Azerbaijan, located on the banks of the Kura River, about 323 kilometers from the capital city of Baku. The city is known for its industry, energy and water engineering, and has the Mingechaychaur Hydroelectric Power Station and Reservoir, which provides the country with electricity and irrigation water. The economy is based on manufacturing, chemicals and food processing, while retaining a rich heritage of Soviet-era architecture. Culturally, there are historical museums and archaeological sites reflecting its development from ancient to modern times. Conveniently connected to major road and rail networks, it is an important hub for Azerbaijan's interior.
