Rogachev is a city in the Gomel Oblast of Belarus, located on the banks of the Dnieper River, about 100 kilometers from the Oblast capital Gomel, and is one of the region's major industrial and transportation hubs. The city dates back to the 12th century and boasts several historical monuments, including an 18th-century Orthodox church and 19th-century municipal buildings. The economy is based on machine building, food processing and wood processing, with some agriculture. The scenery along the Dnieper River adds to the city's natural charm, and there are museums showcasing local history and folklore. As a small city in south-central Belarus, Rogachev maintains a quiet pace of life with a certain industrial and commercial dynamism.
Located in west-central Burkina Faso, Da Village is one of the typical traditional villages in sub-Saharan Africa, belonging to the region of Boucle du Mouhoun. With a predominantly savannah climate, the inhabitants are mostly farmers, cultivating millet, maize and peanuts and leading a self-sufficient life. The village retains its traditional dome-domed mud huts and communal council chambers, and has a strong Mossi culture, with regular traditional dances and rituals, showcasing West Africa's original cultural charm. Though small, Da Village unites the simplicity and resilience of rural Burkina Faso, and is a window into local folklore and an excellent place to explore the traditional way of life in West Africa.
