Pukou District is located in the northwest of Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, on the north bank of the Yangtze River, and is the gateway to the northern wing of the Nanjing metropolitan area, known as the "barrier of the Jinling Mountains". It is surrounded by Laoshan National Forest Park, with a forest coverage of over 80%, and a superior ecological environment; Pukou Railway Station, as a transportation hub in the Republic of China, carries the historical memory of "100 years of railroad", and the classic scene in Zhu Ziqing's "Backstory" took place here. In recent years, as the core area of Nanjing Jiangbei New Area, Pukou focuses on the construction of "City of Chips, City of Genes, New Financial Center", accelerating the rise of integrated circuits, life and health industry clusters, and at the same time, relying on the Pearl Springs, the rain-seeking mountain cultural celebrities Memorial Hall and other resources, to create a "mountain, water and forest" blend of livability.
