Pingqiao District, Xinyang City, Henan Province, is located in the south of Henan Province, is one of the main urban areas of Xinyang City, located in the upper reaches of the Huaihe River, north of Zhumadian, south of Luoshan County, east of Ducheon County, west of Nanyang City, Tongbai County, known as "Gateway to the South of Henan". As the political, economic and cultural sub-center of Xinyang City, Pingqiao District has a total area of 1,889 square kilometers, with 15 townships and 6 streets under its jurisdiction and a population of nearly one million.
