Pendleton is a historic town in Anderson County, South Carolina, United States, located in the northwestern part of the state, about 30 miles from the city of Greenville. The town is known for its well-preserved 19th century architecture and deep cultural heritage.
Founded in 1790, Pendleton is one of the oldest towns in South Carolina. The town center is home to more than 50 historic buildings listed on the National Register of Historic Places, including the Pendleton Borough Historical Museum, built in 1826. The town is also known for the Pendleton Farmstead National Historic Landmark, which showcases a unique look at an early farming community.
Each spring, Pendleton hosts the famous Pendleton Spring Festival, which attracts a large number of visitors who come to experience traditional crafts, music and food. The town is surrounded by beautiful natural landscapes and is close to the Savannah River and the Blue Ridge Mountains, making it ideal for outdoor enthusiasts to hike and fish.

Fenghua is located on the eastern coast of Zhejiang Province, China, a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Ningbo City, and is situated in the southern economic circle of the Yangtze River Delta. Fenghua is known as the "hometown of Chiang", the birthplace of modern historical figures Chiang Kai-shek and Chiang Ching-kuo, and the town of Xikou has preserved a large number of historical architectural complexes of the Republic of China period, such as the Fenghao House and the Yutai Salt Shop.
As the place where Monk Budai, an incarnation of the Buddhist Maitreya Buddha, passed away, Fenghua is known as the "Holy Land of Maitreya", and the Maitreya Buddha at Xuedoushan Mountain has become an important religious and cultural landmark. Fenghua has both mountain and sea landscapes and cultural heritage, Xuedoushan National Scenic Spot, Huangxian Forest Park and other natural scenic spots and the Republic of China culture, Buddhist culture, intermingled to form a unique tourist attraction, the Yangtze River Delta region is an important cultural tourism destination.
