Nanchong is located in the northeastern part of Sichuan Province, China, and is the economic, cultural and transportation center of northeastern Sichuan. As a city with a long history, Nanchong has a history of more than 2,200 years and is known as the "Silk Capital" and the "Fruit City". It has a mild subtropical monsoon climate and is rich in citrus, silk and other agricultural products.
Nanchong is rich in tourism resources, with famous attractions including Langzhong Ancient City (one of the Four Great Ancient Cities of China), Lingyun Mountain, and Xishan Mountain Scenic Area, which combines natural scenery with elements of the Three Kingdoms culture. The city has convenient transportation, with the Lanzhou-Chongqing Railway and highway network connecting to major cities such as Chengdu and Chongqing. Nanchong is also known for its education, with colleges and universities such as Xihua Normal University, making it an important talent training base in northeast Sichuan.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
