Mugamba is a town in Bururi Province in the south of Burundi, located near the country's border with Tanzania, situated in the highland area with an altitude of about 1,500 meters, with a mild and pleasant climate. As an important agricultural center in Bururi Province, local residents grow coffee, corn, beans and other crops for a living, and the agricultural products are transported to the capital city of Bujumbura and surrounding markets through simple roads. The recommended season for visiting the area is from November to March each year, where you can watch the purple-spotted butterflies gather and experience the hot spring season activities.
