Moroni, Comoros is the capital and largest city of the Union of Comoros, located in the western part of the Indian Ocean on the west coast of the island of Grand Comoros. As the political, economic and cultural center of the country, Moroni is known for its unique volcanic landscape, tropical climate and rich Swahili-Arab cultural heritage.
