Overview of Amuru District, Uganda

Amuru District is one of the northern administrative districts of Uganda, bordering Kitgum District to the east and Gulu District to the west, with a total area of about 3,830 square kilometers. Amuru District has a population of about 200,000, with the Acholi as the dominant ethnic group, speaking both Luo and English.
