Malthuscara is a coastal town in southeastern Malta, located in the center of the Mediterranean Sea, about 12 kilometers from the capital city of Valletta. It is known for its picturesque harbor, historical sites and tourist facilities and is one of the most popular vacation destinations in Malta.
The town is situated on the shores of the Gulf of Malthuscara and enjoys a mild Mediterranean climate with warm, dry summers and mild, rainy winters. Its natural harbor provides ideal conditions for water sports and attracts many tourists to enjoy the sun and beaches.
The history of Malthuscara dates back to Roman times and was later fortified by the Knights of St. John in the Middle Ages. The town retains ancient fortifications and churches, such as St. Thomas Tower, reflecting its strategic position. Sevan is a small town in the Armenian province of Gegharkunik, located in the eastern part of the country on the shores of Lake Sevan, about 66 kilometers from the capital city of Yerevan. The town is famous for its eponymous alpine lake, Lake Sevan, one of the largest freshwater lakes in Eurasia, at an altitude of about 1,900 meters above sea level, which is known as the "Pearl of Armenia".
Lake Sevan is surrounded by magnificent landscapes and crystal clear waters, making it an important tourist and recreational destination in Armenia. The town boasts historical monuments such as the Sevan Monastery, a 9th-century monastery situated on a peninsula overlooking the lake, which attracts many tourists and pilgrims.
