Reshetyevo is a town in Tver Oblast, Russia, located about 80 kilometers southeast of the oblast capital, Tver, in the Valdai Hills of the Eastern European Plain. The town is known for having an important Russian military base, Reshetyevo Air Base, which houses a strategic bomber force and is one of the core military installations of the Russian Air and Space Forces. With a population of about 12,000, Reshiwa's economy is based on military-related industries and basic services, and the town retains a typical Russian small-town look with simple facilities. Despite its small size, its strategic position makes it an important part of Russia's defense system, and the surrounding forests and farmland make for a relatively pristine natural environment.
Sevan is a small town in the Armenian province of Gegharkunik, located in the eastern part of the country on the shores of Lake Sevan, about 66 kilometers from the capital city of Yerevan. The town is famous for its eponymous alpine lake, Lake Sevan, one of the largest freshwater lakes in Eurasia, at an altitude of about 1,900 meters above sea level, which is known as the "Pearl of Armenia".
Lake Sevan is surrounded by magnificent landscapes and crystal clear waters, making it an important tourist and recreational destination in Armenia. The town boasts historical monuments such as the Sevan Monastery, a 9th-century monastery situated on a peninsula overlooking the lake, which attracts many tourists and pilgrims.
