Luannan County is located in the eastern part of Hebei Province, south of Tang City, on the coast of the Bohai Bay, Luan River, Steep River downstream, is an important node of the Bohai Economic Circle and the Beijing-Tianjin-Tangshan metropolitan area. The county has a total area of 1,270 square kilometers, with 17 towns and a population of about 570,000 people. Luannan has a long history and deep cultural heritage, and is one of the birthplaces of traditional arts such as commentary opera and shadow play. Flat terrain, fertile soil, is a typical agricultural county, producing rice, wheat, corn and other crops, of which "Bergezhuang rice" for the National Geographic Indication products. In recent years, Luannan actively develop modern agriculture, equipment manufacturing and port industries, economic strength has been steadily increasing.
