Linbian is located on the southwest coast of Pingtung County, Taiwan Province of China, neighboring Donggang Township to the east and the Taiwan Strait to the west, and is a typical coastal township. The area is dominated by plains, with the Linbian River meandering through it, giving rise to rich fishery resources, and it is known as "Taiwan's lice township". The local lice farming and processing industry is well-developed, and the local delicacies such as lice congee and fishballs are well known. In addition to fisheries, Linbian also retains a traditional rural landscape, with centuries-old houses and temples (such as Linbian Cifeng Palace) carrying a profound local culture. In recent years, ecotourism has been developed in conjunction with coastal resources, and the Linbian Wetland and Coastal Bicycle Path have become recreational highlights, making it one of the representative destinations for experiencing the atmosphere of a fishing village in southern Taiwan.
Libby, the county seat of Lincoln County, is located in northwestern Montana, USA. Nestled in the northern foothills of the Rocky Mountains near the Idaho border, Libby is known for the natural beauty of the Cabinet Mountains and the Kootenai National Forest. With its roots in the late 19th century logging industry, the town of about 2,700 was once an important lumber processing center and still retains a strong forest culture.
