Jiangdong is a former district of Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, China, which was merged with part of Haishu District and Yinzhou District in 2016 to form the new Yinzhou District. The former Jiangdong District is located on the south bank of the Yong River, in the core area of the Sanjiangkou, and is one of Ningbo's famous historical and cultural cities and modern business centers. Since ancient times, it has been a place where merchants and traders gather, with rich historical relics and modern urban style, such as Jiangxia Street, Tianyi Pavilion surrounding the cultural district, etc., a blend of the traditional south of the Yangtze River water town flavor and modern urban vitality.
