Ko Kali is the capital of Karen State in Myanmar, located in the southeastern part of the country near the Thai border, and is the political, economic and cultural center of Karen State. The city is situated on the banks of the Salween River and has a hot and humid climate, with agriculture and border trade as its main industries, producing rice, rubber and other crops.
