Jiaohe City is a county-level city under the administration of Jilin City, Jilin Province, located in the eastern part of Jilin Province, at the western foot of Changbai Mountain and on the shore of Songhua Lake. It has a total area of 6,235 square kilometers and a population of about 400,000 people. It is located in the core of the Northeast Asian Economic Circle and is an important node city of the Changjitu Development and Opening Pilot Zone.
Jiaohe is known as the "City of Red Leaves" and has the largest red leaf valley in Asia, Jiaohe Red Leaf Valley, which attracts hundreds of thousands of tourists to its annual red leaf tourism festival in the fall. Lafashan National Forest Park is famous for its granite peaks, known as the "Nine Iron Fork Mountains". Songhua Lake, with its pleasant scenery in all seasons, is an important aquatic base in Northeast China.
As an important agricultural county and city in Jilin Province, Jiaohe is rich in black fungus, ginseng, schizandra and other specialties, of which the Huangsongdian black fungus has been protected by the National Geographical Indication. Industry is dominated by medicine and health, and mineral processing, which has gradually formed characteristic industrial clusters. Convenient transportation, Huizhou high-speed, Changtu Railway runs through the whole territory.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
