São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Yuanbao District is the core urban area of Dandong City, Liaoning Province, China, located in the southeast of Liaodong Peninsula and on the south bank of the lower Yalu River, across the river from Sinuiju, North Korea, and an important node on the border between China and North Korea. It is named after the Yuanbaoshan Mountain in the district, which resembles an ancient Yuanbao, and has a long history. At the end of the Qing Dynasty, the city was opened for trade and commerce, and was once a major trading town in Northeast Asia. As the old city of Dandong, Yuanbao District combines border flavor and industrial heritage, with bustling commerce and many historical sites of the Anti-American War, such as the Yalu River Broken Bridge Scenic Spot. With convenient transportation, the Shendan Railway and high-speed railroad running through its territory, it is one of the hubs connecting the Northeast hinterland with the Korean Peninsula, combining frontier characteristics with modern vitality.
