São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
The Right River is an important river and geographic region of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of China, rather than the name of a country or city. It flows through Baise City and Tianyang District, and is a tributary of the upper reaches of the Xijiang River in the Pearl River system, known for its rich water resources and shipping value.
With a predominantly subtropical climate, the region has a well-developed agriculture, producing crops such as mangoes and sugar cane, as well as red tourist attractions such as the Baise Uprising Memorial, and a unique Zhuang cultural tradition. The economy is based on the pillars of agriculture, energy and tourism, and in recent years infrastructure and ecological protection have continued to develop.
The Right River Basin has a remarkable historical and strategic position as an important corridor connecting Yunnan-Guizhou-Guizhou.
