São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Yinhai District is a municipal district under the jurisdiction of Beihai City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China, founded in 1994, located in the eastern part of Beihai City, bordering the North Bay, with a total area of about 423 square kilometers. The district is famous for the Silver Beach Scenic Area, with quality sandy beaches and crystal clear waters stretching for dozens of kilometers, making it an important tourist destination in Guangxi's Beibu Gulf Economic Zone. The economy of Yinhai District is dominated by tourism, marine industry and modern agriculture, and in recent years it has been actively developing coastal recreation and high-end service industries. Qiaogang Town within the district is a settlement of Southeast Asian returned overseas Chinese, blending diverse cultural characteristics. Convenient transportation connects the district to major cities at home and abroad through highways, railroads and the Beihai Fucheng Airport.
