São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Yimen County, belonging to Yuxi City, Yunnan Province, is located in the hinterland of central Yunnan, bordered by Jinning in the east, Eshan in the south, Shuangbai in the west and Anning in the north, and is an important node of Kunming to the south and west of Yunnan. The territory is covered with mountains, with a forest coverage of 62%, known as the "Pearl of the Green Sea in Dianzhong", with Longquan National Forest Park, Dagufang Reservoir and other natural landscapes, and superior ecological resources. Yimen wild mushrooms, tea, walnuts and other agricultural products are renowned both inside and outside the province, of which the wild mushrooms have become a distinctive business card because of their varieties and excellent quality. Ceramic industry has a long history, is an important ceramic production base in Yunnan, forming a "porcelain as the soul, ecological rhyme" development pattern. With a pleasant climate and four seasons like spring, it is an ideal destination for leisure vacation and eco-tourism, combining natural scenery and humanistic heritage.
