São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Viana is an important city in the Angolan province of Luanda, located about 20 kilometers south of the capital, Luanda, and is part of the core of the Greater Luanda Metropolitan Area. As one of Angola's fast-growing satellite cities, Viana has a population of over one million, making it one of the country's more densely populated areas. The local economy is dominated by agriculture, light industry and services, with rich agricultural resources, while gradually forming a manufacturing and logistics cluster based on the radiation driven by Luanda. Lake Viana is a landmark natural landscape in the region, which not only provides recreational space for residents, but has also become a popular destination for eco-tourism. In recent years, with the acceleration of urbanization, Viana has been improving its infrastructure, attracting a large number of people to move in and becoming one of the emerging engines of Angola's economic growth.
