São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Thuhagiri is an island in the North Male Atoll of the Maldives, known for its pristine natural beauty and high-end resorts. One of the many private islands in the Maldives, it offers tranquil beaches, crystal clear lagoons and abundant marine life, making it an ideal destination for diving, snorkeling and water sports.
Tuhajiri is conveniently located near Male, the capital of the Maldives, and can be reached by speedboat or seaplane. Surrounded by coral reefs, the island boasts a typical Maldivian tropical landscape including white sandy beaches and coconut palms for travelers looking for a privacy and luxury experience.
Visitors can enjoy spa treatments, sunset cruises and seafood dining at Tuhajiri. The area emphasizes sustainable tourism and protection of the marine environment. The best time to visit is during the dry season from November to April, when the climate is pleasant for outdoor adventures.
