São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Located in the eastern part of the Watarajima General Promotion Bureau in Hokkaido, Japan, and adjacent to the city of Hakodate, Kabe Town is a small town surrounded by forests and the sea. The town is famous for its high quality hot spring resources. Kabe Onsen is an ideal place for relaxation with its clear, mineral-rich water. The town has a beautiful natural environment, with cherry blossoms in the spring, autumn foliage in the mountains, coastline scenery in the summer, and the quiet beauty of snowy landscapes in the winter. With a population of about 3,000, the town retains the traditional tranquil atmosphere of Hokkaido, making it suitable for travelers seeking a slower-paced experience. There is also an abundance of local agricultural products, such as fresh seafood and dairy products, making it an excellent destination for experiencing authentic Hokkaido life.
