São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Puerto Sines is an important port city in the southern Chilean region of Los Angeles, located in the province of Coico, in the northern part of the Patagonia region, and is a key gateway between the interior and the Pacific Ocean. The port is known for its fishing and forestry resources, with salmon and cod in the surrounding waters supporting the backbone of the local economy, as well as its role as a hub for timber exports, through which the high quality timber from the south of Chile is shipped around the world. The city has a unique fjord and glacier landscape, and its proximity to the famous Quell National Park attracts nature lovers to explore glacier hiking and eco-tourism. With its industrial dynamism and natural wilderness, Puerto Cisneros is an important node on Chile's "Route del Sur" tourist route, combining port functions with eco-tourism appeal.
