São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Located in Davis County, Utah, USA, North Salt Lake City is an important part of the Salt Lake City metropolitan area, approximately 24 kilometers from downtown Salt Lake. The city's economy is anchored by manufacturing and technology industries, with production facilities and research and development centers for a number of well-known companies, while benefiting from the rapid growth of the Utah economy as a whole. North Salt Lake City's natural environment, adjacent to the eastern portion of the Great Salt Lake, is rich in outdoor activities, including hiking, camping and water sports. The climate is temperate continental with four distinct, sunny seasons and low average annual rainfall. With a population of approximately 20,000, safe neighborhoods, and a relatively moderate cost of living, the city is one of Utah's premier livable cities and has attracted a large number of young families and working professionals who have relocated to the area in recent years.
