São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Hodonín is an important city in the South Moravian region of the southeastern part of the Czech Republic, strategically located near the Slovak border with a tributary of the Morava River running through the city. With a history dating back to the Middle Ages, the city was once a trading hub during the Austro-Hungarian Empire, and is home to a multicultural mix of Gothic castles, Baroque churches and other historical sites. As the heart of the agricultural region of South Moravia, Holzerny is known for its grape growing and food processing industries, and has a long history of the local wine industry, which attracts many tourists to its annual wine festival. At the same time, the city's industry is dominated by machine building and chemicals, making it one of the most economically active regions in the southeastern part of the Czech Republic. Hocheny retains a deep historical heritage while displaying modern industrial dynamism, making it a distinctive destination for exploring the culture of South Moravia in the Czech Republic.
