São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Cërrik is an important city in the Fieri region of central Albania, located on the Adriatic coastal plain, about 30 kilometers from the port of Vlora, and serves as a transportation node connecting the inland and coastal regions. The city is based on agriculture and light industry, producing agricultural products such as olive oil and citrus, as well as having manufacturing factories for textiles and building materials. The city is surrounded by a rich natural landscape and is close to the beaches of Linas Bay, which attracts some tourists who come to experience the local seaside atmosphere and rural culture. As a small to medium-sized city in Albania's economic transition, Cherik plays an active role in regional trade and logistics, combining the characteristics of a traditional agricultural town with a modern industrial city.
