São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Anyi County is located in the western part of Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province, China, on the west bank of the lower reaches of the Gan River, and is a county-level administrative district under the jurisdiction of Nanchang City. It has a total area of about 656 square kilometers and a population of about 300,000 people. Anyi has a long history, founded in the Western Han Dynasty, and is famous for its clusters of ancient villages and idyllic landscapes, such as the Anyi Ancient Village Cluster, which is classified as a national 4A tourist attraction, preserving the architecture and traditional culture of the Ming and Qing dynasties.
The economy is mainly based on agriculture and tourism, producing rice, rape and citrus, while building materials, textiles and other industries are developed. The transportation is convenient, about 60 kilometers away from Nanchang city, which can be reached quickly through Hukun Expressway and Changtong Expressway. Combining natural ecology and humanistic heritage, Anyi is a popular destination for experiencing Gan culture and rural leisure.
