São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Anlong County belongs to Guizhou Province Qianxinan Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, located in the combination of Guizhou, Yunnan and Guangxi provinces, known as "the key to Guizhou and Guangxi" and "the gateway to Xingyi". This ancient city, built in the Ming Dynasty, was once the accompanying capital of the Yongli Dynasty of the Southern Ming Dynasty, with historical relics such as Zhaodi, Banshan Pavilion, and the Tomb of Mr. Ming XVIII, etc. Among them, the Lotus Landscape of Zhaodi is known as the "Winning Scenery of Qianzhong", which is still a good place for enjoying the Lotus in the summer. Anlong has a rich culture of the Buyei and Miao ethnic minorities, and the traditional festivals such as "March 3" and "June 6" each year are characterized by singing, dancing, embroidery, silver ornaments and other non-heritage culture.
