São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Anfu County, belonging to Ji'an City, Jiangxi Province, China, is located in the western part of Jiangxi Province, at the eastern foot of Luoxiao Mountains, and is an important county in the Lushui River basin, a tributary of the Gan River. It has a total area of about 2,798 square kilometers and a population of about 400,000 people. Anfu has a long history, founded in the Eastern Han Dynasty, and is known as the "Famous County of Culture in Western Gan", with ancient buildings such as the Temple of Literature and the Dongshan Pagoda preserved in its territory.
Anfu is famous for the Wugong Mountain National Scenic Spot, which is a holy place for Taoism and Buddhism with its beautiful peaks and magnificent sea of clouds. In addition, the county boasts the Yangshimu Canyon, hot spring resources and primitive forests, and is rich in ecological resources for hiking and health tourism.
Anfu is the "Hometown of Ham" in China, with a long history of ham, which is a national geographical indication product. The local culture is a blend of Luling culture and Hakka traditions, and is characterized by tea-picking opera, folk paper-cutting and other non-heritage projects. The economy is dominated by agriculture, tourism and green industries, and in recent years has focused on ecologically sustainable development.
