Iracoubeau is a municipality in the French overseas department of French Guiana, located on the Atlantic coast of northeastern South America. As part of French Guiana, Iracoube is part of the European Union and the Eurozone, although it is located in South America, and its official language is French.
Iracoube is located about 200 kilometers northwest of Cayenne, next to the Atlantic Ocean, and has a tropical rainforest climate with high temperatures and rainfall throughout the year. Surrounded by the dense Amazon rainforest, the area is extremely rich in biodiversity and is an important area for observing tropical ecology.
The local economy is based on fishing, forestry and a small amount of agriculture, and the population is diverse, including Creoles, Native Indians and European immigrants. Due to the remoteness of the area, the infrastructure is relatively simple and the pace of life is gentle, retaining a strong natural and primitive flavor.
Attracting adventure travelers with its tranquil beaches and rainforest landscapes, Irakubo is one of the gateways to experiencing the natural wilderness of French Guiana. The local culture is a blend of French and Caribbean characteristics, and can be connected by road to major towns such as Cayenne.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
