Located in the western part of China's Anhui Province, Huoshan County is part of the city of Lu'an and is situated in the hinterland of the Dabie Mountains, making it a state-level ecological county and a famous old revolutionary area. The county is known for its rich natural resources and beautiful ecological environment, with a number of national forest parks and nature reserves, such as the Dabie Mountain Main Peak Scenic Area and Fuziling Reservoir, making it an eco-tourism and summer vacation destination.
Huoshan's economy is dominated by green industries, producing specialties such as Huoshan Dendrobium and Huoshan Yellow Buds, of which Huoshan Dendrobium is known as "the first of the Nine Immortal Herbs of China", with high medicinal and health care value. Diffa, the capital of the Diffa region in southeastern Niger, is located on the southern edge of the Sahara Desert and shares a border with Nigeria, making it one of the most important border cities in Niger. The city is located in the lower Niger River basin around the climate of the tropical desert climate, hot and dry throughout the year, the average annual precipitation is less than 300 millimeters. The economy is based on agriculture and animal husbandry, and the surrounding areas are rich in millet, sorghum and livestock. Diffa, as a regional trade center, undertakes the function of cross-border trade with neighboring countries, such as Nigeria, and is especially famous for the trade of livestock, agricultural products and handicrafts.
