Located in the north of Anhui Province, China, Huaibei is an important industrial city and regional center in the northern Anhui region. It is located at the junction of four provinces, namely Suzhou, Luzhou, Henan and Anhui, and enjoys a temperate monsoon climate with four distinct seasons. As a typical resource-oriented city, Huaibei is famous for its coal industry and is known as the "Energy Capital".
Huaibei has a long history, with more than 4,000 years of civilization, and is one of the important birthplaces of the Canal Culture and Han Culture. Famous attractions include the Xiangshan Scenic Area, the Linlux Ancient City Wall and the ruins of the Sui and Tang Dynasty Grand Canal. Local specialties include Huaibei Branded Buns and Kouzi Cellar Wine, demonstrating a unique food culture.
In recent years Huaibei has been actively promoting urban transformation and vigorously developing new industries such as new materials and new energy. The city has convenient transportation, a complete high-speed rail network, and is only 50 kilometers from Xuzhou Guanyin International Airport. Huaibei is transforming from a traditional coal city to a modern livable city, and has been awarded the titles of National Civilized City and National Garden City.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
