Houbi District is located in the northwest of Tainan City, Taiwan Province of China, in the heart of the Chia Nan Plain, bordered by Xinying District and Dongshan District in the north, Baihe District in the south, Yanshui District in the west, and Wushantou Reservoir in the east, making it a typical agricultural township. The area is named "Houbiliao" because of its location. In the early days, the area was mainly planted with sugarcane and rice, but now it is famous for its high-quality fruits such as lotus mist, mango and wendan, and enjoys the reputation of "the township of fruits", of which Houbiliao lotus mist is a geographical indication product of Taiwan. The area is rich in history, with the Jingliao Old Street preserving the appearance of the street houses during the Japanese rule period, and the Lin Family Ancestral Hall, Houbi Station and other monuments witnessing the passage of time. Conveniently located, the Taiwan Railway's longitudinal line runs through the area, linking natural scenery and humanistic customs, making it an excellent place to experience rural life in southern Taiwan.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
