Hexian is a county under the jurisdiction of Maanshan City, Anhui Province, People's Republic of China, located on the north bank of the lower reaches of the Yangtze River, adjacent to Nanjing, Jiangsu Province. The region has a long history and is one of the important birthplaces of Chinese civilization, boasting a history of over 2,200 years of countyhood. With agriculture, manufacturing and tourism as its leading economic industries, Hexian is rich in rice, rape and vegetables, and is also known as the "Hometown of Chinese Vegetables".
Hexian County is rich in cultural heritage, such as the Bawang Ancestral Temple, Tianmen Mountain, Jigong Mountain and other historical attractions, as well as the ancient ape-man ruins, which prove that it was once an area of early human activities. Liu Yuxi's former residence, the "ugly room", is also located here, highlighting its cultural heritage. Relying on the golden waterway of the Yangtze River and its proximity to Nanjing, the county is actively developing eco-tourism and red tourism projects.
As an important part of the Wanjiang City Belt, Hexian County has convenient transportation, with several highways and railroads running through the county. In recent years, it has focused on the development of green food processing, machinery manufacturing and other industries, and has maintained steady economic growth. Its unique geographic location makes Hexian a key node connecting the economic corridors of Anhui and Jiangsu, with significant development potential.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
