An important port city and tourist destination in southern Montenegro, Herceg Novi is situated on the Adriatic coast, near the entrance to the Gulf of Kotor, and is known as the "Balcony of the Adriatic". The city is a blend of medieval history and Mediterranean charm, with the ruins of the 15th century Castle of St. Michael, the 16th century Venetian architecture of the Old Town, and the Blue Flag-certified beach of Pražde, among other natural attractions. Thanks to its Mediterranean climate, it has warm, dry summers and mild, wet winters, making it an ideal destination for summer and island vacations. Visitors can experience the charm of the stone streets of the Old Town, taste Montenegrin seafood specialties, or explore the surrounding World Heritage Site of the Bay of Kotor by boat, enjoying the romance and vitality of the Adriatic Sea.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
