The Zimbabwe Highlands, situated on the country's south-eastern plateau at an average altitude of over 1,200 meters above sea level, is renowned for its cool climate and spectacular natural beauty. Far from the hustle and bustle of the city, the vast grasslands, rolling hills and wildlife reserves dotting the landscape constitute a unique ecology, making it an ideal destination for bird-watching and eco-tourism. The economy is based on agriculture and animal husbandry, with tea plantations and orchards scattered throughout, producing excellent coffee and tea. The region retains a strong traditional culture, with traditional handicrafts and tribal rituals passed down from generation to generation in the villages, adding a mystical touch to the plateau. Although it is not an internationally renowned city, its pristine wildness and serenity attract travelers seeking in-depth natural experiences.
Located in the southern part of Azerbaijan, Satre District is an important administrative division of the country, known for its natural beauty and agricultural economy. With a total area of about 770 square kilometers and a population of about 100,000, the district is situated in the belt of the Lesser Caucasus Mountains, with a mountainous terrain and a mild climate suitable for the cultivation of cereals and fruits.
Bordering on the Iranian border and about 250 kilometers away from the capital Baku, Satre District is rich in forests and water resources. There are several nature reserves in the district with rich biodiversity, making it an ideal destination for hiking and eco-tourism.
