Gulang County is located in Wuwei City, Gansu Province, China, at the eastern end of the Hexi Corridor, an important historical and cultural city on the Silk Road. The region is known for its rich historical sites, unique natural landscapes and deep cultural heritage.
Gulang has a long history, with human activities as early as the Neolithic Age. It was a necessary stop on the ancient Silk Road, leaving behind many cultural heritages, such as the ruins of the Great Wall of Gulang and Han Dynasty burial mounds. The local folk culture is diverse, with traditional festivals and handicrafts well preserved.
Gulang County is characterized by magnificent natural scenery, including the Qilian Mountains and arid grassland landscapes. Famous attractions include the Gulang Canyon and desert oasis, suitable for eco-tourism and outdoor adventure. With a dry climate and four distinct seasons, it is an ideal destination to experience the northwest.
The economy is based on agriculture, producing wheat, corn and melons. In recent years, the tourism industry has developed rapidly, attracting tourists with its historical and cultural resources. Gulang is also famous for local specialties such as mutton and handicrafts.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
