Located in the British Overseas Territory of Bermuda in the North Atlantic Ocean, Flatts Village is one of the country's historic and picturesque coastal settlements. It is situated on the border between the parishes of Southampton and Warwick, about 5 kilometers from the capital city of Hamilton, and is known for its colorful houses, tranquil bays and rich marine ecology.
The village of Flatts is nestled alongside Flatts Inlet, surrounded by emerald green hills and blue waters. It is home to the Bermuda Aquarium, Museum and Zoo (BAMZ), which is a major attraction showcasing local marine life and cultural heritage. The village's buildings are mostly in traditional Bermudian style, with roofs designed to capture rainwater, reflecting the island's sustainability savvy.
A tourist hotspot, Flatts Village offers water activities such as snorkeling, fishing and sailing, and visitors can explore the nearby coral reefs and shipwreck sites.
