Located in Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Hunan Province, China, Fenghuang Ancient Town is a famous ethnic minority cultural city with a long history. Founded in the Qing Dynasty, it is famous for its well-preserved Ming and Qing architectural complexes, the Miao and Tujia ethnic groups and the scenery along the Tuo River. Core attractions include the Hongqiao Bridge, Shen Congwen's former residence and the Wanming Pagoda, which was listed as a Famous Historical and Cultural City of China in 2001.
As the hometown of literary giant Shen Congwen, Fenghuang combines natural landscape and humanistic heritage, and is known as "China's most beautiful small city". Visitors can experience hammock lodging, canoeing on the Tuojiang River, savoring the specialties such as duck in blood, and feeling the charm of unique folk culture and intangible cultural heritage of western Hunan.
Located in the southern part of Azerbaijan, Satre District is an important administrative division of the country, known for its natural beauty and agricultural economy.
