Fengbin is located on the eastern coastline of Hualien County, Taiwan Province of China, and is an important settlement of the Amis, the aboriginal people of Taiwan. Bordered by the Pacific Ocean to the east, the region is rich in coastal ecological resources, including famous natural landscapes such as Shitiping and Moon Cave. With fishing and tourism as its main industries, Fengbin attracts many tourists with its unique sea-eroded landforms and aboriginal culture. Traditional cultural events such as the annual Fengnian Festival held locally showcase the unique ethnic flavor of the Amis. As a necessary stop on the Hualien East Coast Highway, Fengbin has become an important stop for exploring the ecology and culture of Taiwan's eastern coast.
Sinpo is the capital and economic center of South Hamgyong Province in North Korea, and is located on the coast of the Sea of Japan in the eastern part of the country, making it an important port city. As the political and cultural hub of South Hamgyong Province, Sinpo is blessed with marine resources, and fishing and shipbuilding are its pillar industries, while machinery manufacturing, non-ferrous metal smelting and other industries are also more developed. The city is surrounded by mountains and the sea, with a unique natural landscape, and the surrounding waters are rich in seafood such as fish and crabs, making it an important aquatic base of the DPRK. As a gateway between the inland and the sea, Sinpo plays a key role in the regional economy and trade, combining the hardcore look of an industrial city with the spirit of a seaside town.
