Deva is the capital of Hunedoara County in western Romania, located on the banks of the river Mureş, with a population of about 60,000 people. Located in the northwestern part of Xing'an League in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of China, Aershan is a border tourist city famous for its forest ecology and volcanic landscape. As an important ecological barrier in Inner Mongolia, it is known as the "Switzerland of the East" for its pristine forests, volcanic relics, mineral springs and snow and ice resources, as well as its distinctive landscapes in all four seasons.

Aershan is conveniently located with a civil airport and railroad station, and a road network connecting popular destinations such as Hulunbeier and Xilingol. Core attractions include the Aershan National Forest Park, the White Wolf Peak Scenic Area and the Wonders of the Frozen River, which are suitable for year-round ecological sightseeing, hot springs recreation and ice and snow sports, making it an important ecotourism demonstration area in northern China.
