Located in the south of Jiangsu Province, China, Danyang City is a county-level city under the administration of Zhenjiang City. It is located in the Yangtze River Delta Economic Circle, and is famous for its eyeglasses manufacturing, auto parts and new materials industries. Danyang has a long history and boasts the culture of the hometown of the Qi and Liang emperors, making it one of China's important cultural tourism destinations.
The city has convenient transportation, with the Beijing-Shanghai High Speed Railway and the Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway running through the city, and is about an hour's drive from Nanjing Lukou International Airport.
