Danielson is located in northeastern Connecticut, USA, in Windham County, and is the core community of the small town of Killingly, near the Rhode Island border. Historically rooted in the rise of the textile industry in the 19th century, the area today retains a quintessential New England small-town feel, with Victorian architecture and a peaceful neighborhood atmosphere. As a local business and educational center, Danielson features a community college, library and small business district, and is conveniently located with quick access to Hartford and Providence via Interstate 84. Despite its small population (approximately 4,000), its deep industrial heritage and friendly community environment make it one of the representative towns of Northeastern Connecticut for livability.
