Cheng County is located in the southeastern part of Gansu Province in China, under Longnan City, at the southern foot of the Qinling Mountains and the upper reaches of the Jialing River. With a long history, the county is an important node of the ancient Shu Road and one of the birthplaces of Longnan culture, with national cultural relics protection units such as the Xixiasong cliff carvings. Rich in natural resources, known for walnuts, Chinese medicinal herbs and minerals, known as "Jiangnan on the Longnan" and "the hometown of China's walnuts" reputation.
