Surrounded by dense mangrove forests, the city's ecological environment is unique, making it a great place for bird-watching and experiencing nature. Bubac retains Guinea-Bissau's traditional mud-brick buildings and rustic streets, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, and at a slow pace, visitors can experience pure beach life and explore the unique local culture that coexists with the sea.
Mapiripán is a municipality in the Department of Meta, Colombia, located in the Llanos Orientales (Eastern Plains) region of the country, along the Río Guaviare, about 280 kilometers from the capital of the department, Villa Vecchio. The climate is predominantly savannah, with flat terrain, vast grasslands and rivers forming the main natural landscape of the region. The economy relies mainly on livestock and agriculture, with some areas engaged in small-scale tropical crop cultivation.
